About Robin:

Robin has spent a good chunk of her life studying motion through the lenses of dance, Laban Movement Analysis, and Somatic education. Leaving the realm of higher education, Robin is interested in bringing dance, movement, and embodied knowledge out into the public eye. Her passion for the human body as an instrument for expression, power, and human connection drives her work.

Robin has an MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah and a BA in Dance from Brigham Young University. Robin is also a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) and a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA). With a deep passion for the human body, Robin has been exploring ways to help others reclaim their personal power and embodied way of knowing. Robin has taught a variety of classes at Brigham Young University as a visiting assistant professor. She has also taught at Utah Valley University, the University of Utah, and for the Integrated Movement Studies program. Robin continues to teach through individual movement therapy sessions, master classes, and workshops. Her choreography has been presented throughout Utah and nationwide. She is also the creator, owner, and administrator of Movement Has Meaning.
